The C8 Z06 is one of the most exciting modern performance cars on the road, and we wanted an exhaust to match. Our RWE C8 Z06 Cat Back Exhaust was built to bring out more of the LT6’s natural voice without turning the car into something you regret living with. The goal was simple: sharper tone, better presence, direct fitment, and OEM valve control that still works the way it should.

Built around the sound of the LT6

This system delivers a more aggressive, exotic exhaust note that better matches the personality of the flat plane crank V8. Open the valves and the car comes alive with a harder edged, higher energy tone that feels much more special from inside and outside the car. Close the valves and the system stays composed thanks to compact high flow mufflers on the closed side, which help keep the volume and harshness in check for cold starts, neighborhood driving and longer trips.

3D printed Z pipe and true direct fit design

At the center of the system is a 3D printed Z pipe designed for smooth flow, consistent fitment and a premium finished look. We also built slip joints into each flange connection so the exhaust can be positioned correctly during installation and adjusted for a perfect final fit. That matters on a mid engine car where tip placement, valve alignment and overall fit can make or break the finished product.

OEM valve integration, no compromises

This is a valved exhaust system that retains the stock valve operation, so you keep the same OEM functionality and drive mode behavior the car was designed with. There is no need to give up the convenience of the factory system just to get the sound you actually want. Open when you want the full experience, close when you need the car to settle down.

Why we built it

We wanted a system that sounded more exotic and more intentional than stock, but still installed like an OEM level part and worked with the factory valve controls. This exhaust was built for drivers who actually use their C8 Z06, not just those chasing volume for its own sake. It gives the car more of the sound it deserves while keeping the fit, function and flexibility that matter on a real street and track build.
