Racetech RTB2115B Alloy Back Bracket

A proper race seat install is about more than the shell itself. The back mount matters too. The Racetech RTB2115B Alloy Back Bracket is designed to add the rear support required for compatible Racetech seats, tying the shoulder area of the seat back into the chassis or cage for a stronger, more secure installation. For serious track and race cars, this is a key part of building the seat mounting system the right way.

Fitment and compatibility

The RTB2115B is intended for use with compatible Racetech seats that support rear back mounting at the shoulder beam. Compatible seats include the RT4100, RT4200, RT4119 and RT9119 series in the listed variants. As with any competition seat installation, correct positioning is critical. The bracket is typically used in conjunction with RTB2005C clamps, and four holes will need to be drilled once the seat is positioned correctly in the car.

Installation notes

This bracket is designed to support a properly engineered back-mount installation and should be fitted only after the final driving position is established. Seat angle, harness routing, helmet clearance and cage tube location should all be confirmed before drilling. For race and high-speed track cars, we strongly recommend installation by a qualified fabricator or race shop familiar with proper seat and cage mounting practices.
