The same dampers can be configured in a divorced rear layout if your rules or preferences require it. On older platforms such as E36 and E46 we do recommend reinforcement load plates, but the modern cars handle a properly engineered coilover rear without issue. Of the thousands of MCS kits we have assembled, we have not had failures related to this configuration, even on high spring rate, slick tire and aero heavy race cars.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eCoilover rear setups may produce a light squeak from the rear with certain sway bar and spring contact conditions. Many owners already have upgraded endlinks installed, so we do not automatically include them.
